The Cheshire Team - Who are we?

The Management

Laura Rees oversees Cheshire and has some involvement in organising trials/training/selection/venues and dates.  Laura is the main point of contact for Cheshire Junior Lacrosse matters.

There are  however separate managers for each age group who have the main day to day responsibility of managing the team, and do most of the above tasks:

U18  - Lucy Leonard & Jo Noble

U15 - Kate Preston & Caroline Conroy

U13 - Rachel Hall, Sara Mayer & Jamie Nicholson

Please contact Laura in the first instance for any enquiry on lauracalla@gmail.com.

RESPECT.. WHAT WE EXPECT..

  • Players should let organisers know exactly which trials and training sessions they can come to. If they cannot play in the tournament, there is no point in them trialling.
  • Players should aim to attend ALL training sessions. We appreciate that this is not always possible, but notice should be given if this is the case. Attendance is factored in to selection decisions.
  • Players should arrive to sessions ON TIME. This also affects selection decisions.
  • Players and parents must always respect the CL coaches, selectors and umpires.
  • At tournaments, any players or parents showing disrespect to umpires or coaches will be asked to leave.

OPPORTUNITIES

Cheshire provide opportunities during and after the season for players and parents to get qualified to Level 1 as umpires or coaches. These opportunities will be posted on this website and on our FB page.

VOLUNTEERS

We are always looking for volunteers to train as umpires, to wash kit, to help on the desk at tournaments, etc.  Please let us know if you can help in any way.
